Alan Eller Two Horses

Alan Eller Two Horses graduated early from Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1979. He attended every available art class and was an art aide. He then completed a two year Electro- Mechanical Drafting course at Staples Area Vocational Technical Institute, Minnesota. He was hired by the Cornelius Company of Anoka, Minnesota as a Detail Draftsman in 1981. The company recognized his art talent and sent him to the Minneapolis Technical Institute, the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, and the Metropolitan State University, acquiring an Engineering Graphic Arts degree. He was then promoted to the Engineering Artist for the beverage beer and wine equipment manufacturing company. His duties were drafting all art related blueprints, design aesthetics of the equipment and the company photographer. His greatest accomplishment for the company was the decoration for all the Coca-Cola equipment used at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul Korea. He moved back to the Lower Sioux Indian community in September of 1990 and started his own company screenprinting apparel for Jackpot Junction Casino. He was allowed a computer graphics booth in the nightclub area of the casino to print t-shirts and film video demo's for the night club and headline acts performing in the casino. He signed one day contracts with Barbara Mandrell, Rich Little, Lori Morgan and the Kentucky Headhunters to produce t-shirts during their concerts. Because he was fond of karaoke, he began singing on stage with some of the bands. He entered the Jackpot Junction Talent contest twice placing 2nd and 3rd against trained voices. He was offered lead singing positions by several of the bands he rehearsed with. He purchased, co-wrote and recorded the original song "We're the People." He purchased a computer portrait system and took photos of children at outdoor events for five years. After purchasing a 12 acre ranch in Redwood Falls, Minnesota he built a studio and began doing professional photography and graphic arts. In this studio he produced an infomercial for the million dollar charity the PEO Home fund, which uses the interest of their equity assets to help people recovering from life threatening surgery. Recently he was a featured extra in the award winning independant film "Sweet Land" and was in three scenes with Ned Beatty and Alex Kingston.
